Offsetting (part of) my Emissions

Starting 2023 I’ve partnered with Climeworks and began tracking my work-related flights and car trips emissions. At the end of every gig where I can afford to do so, I estimate my emissions using the United Aviation free online tool or the data from my carmaker’s website. I then proceed to make a one-off climate purchase and send the certificate to my client.

Having to pay for emissions keeps me in check, and helps finance carbon removal. You can find out more about Climeworks by watching this video I made or by visiting their website.

PS: I’m not offsetting train rides. Carbon removal is very expensive, plus not offsetting train emissions serves as an incentive for me when it comes to choosing between plane, train or car.
