Offsetting (part of) my Emissions

Starting in 2023, I partnered with Climeworks and began tracking my work-related flights and car trip emissions. When the rate allows it - or when clients decide to contribute and take advantage of my discount - I purchase carbon removals and share the certificates with them. If you’re wondering why I’m not offsetting train rides, it’s because carbon removal is still quite expensive, and not offsetting train emissions serves as an incentive for me when it comes to choosing between plane, train, or car.

Having to pay for emissions keeps me in check and helps finance carbon removal. You can find out more about Climeworks by watching this video I made for them.

Little side note: this website has a dark mode feel to it because it’s energy efficient compared to brighter alternatives, and my business cards are 100% recycled cotton (they’re super expensive, though, so I’ll likely just give you my number).
